The Search Process

Every search begins with a deep conversation. We learn your organization’s culture, your leadership style, the dynamics of the team this person will join, and — most importantly — what the right person actually looks like beyond the job description. This step is what separates a good search from a great one.

Using our network of over 10,000 contacts built over three decades, we identify the professionals who are the strongest match for your needs. We are looking specifically for passive candidates — the high performers who are excelling at their current company and are not on the market. These are the people your competitors cannot reach.

Every candidate is thoroughly prescreened before we present them to you — technically, professionally, and culturally. We provide insight that goes well beyond the resume: personality, leadership style, motivations, and cultural fit. You will never receive a candidate we haven’t personally spoken with at length.

Step 4: Presentation 

We present a small, highly curated group of candidates — not a stack of resumes. Six of the last seven candidates we presented to one client over an eight-month period were offered positions and joined the organization. That ratio is not an accident. It is the result of doing steps one through three correctly.

We stay involved through the offer, negotiation, and transition process — and we stand behind every placement we make. If a candidate placed on a retained search departs during the warranty period, we replace them. No hesitation.
